Old town

The old town of Warendorf offers not only a variety of historic houses but also innumerable stories and events which took place in and around the buildings. Just the market place itself - Warendorf's “front parlour”- already shows at one glance a variety of buildings from different epochs. During a short tour through the alleys of the town the observer encounters little and big parts of over 1200 years of town history at many places. The guided tours enable you to experience the history of the old town, its constant change and the influences of time.
